I was born and raised in North Carolina and will always be a Carolina girl pulling for The Wolfpack. While living only an hour and a half from the beach I fell in love with the ocean.
I even chose a college at the beach, UNCW where I studied theater. The beach remains my favorite vacation spot to this day.
While working as a design protégé and marketing manager for Niche-by design, I discovered twitter and the doors of opportunity flew open. Through tweeting relationships blossomed and I found a real passion for social media. I dreamed up #SMLRoswell and with the help of twitter, facebook and many friends I created a wonderful luncheon formula for teaching small businesses about social media.

I met Suzanne at our sons' baseball practice. After getting to know each other, I invited Suzanne to a #SMLRoswell. Soon after we decided to team up and combine our individual talents and create GotoGrls.com. Our purpose is to empower
local communities through social media marketing. We wish to teach the small business owner about the many social media platforms available to them, and how to utilize them.
